    Dependency-aware re-runs and plan-aware chat

    2 updates shipped on January 20, 2026.

    1. Update 01 of 02

      Chat is test-plan-aware

Ask the agent to operate on a test plan and it knows what you mean.

The chat agent's get-test-cases and run-test-cases tools now accept a test plan ID. You can say "run the smoke plan on staging" or "show me the failed tests in the regression plan" and the agent will scope its work to that plan instead of falling back to the whole project.

    2. Update 02 of 02

      Re-run with dependencies

A new split button distinguishes "rerun this test" from "rerun this test plus its dependency chain".

Some tests depend on the output state of other tests (login → checkout → upgrade). Re-running a single failed test in the middle of a chain previously gave you the option to either rerun that one test (often broken because it expected state from a prior step) or rerun the entire run. Now there's an explicit "Re-run with Dependencies" button that re-runs the failed test plus everything it depends on.
