Release note·

    Why did this run error?

ERROR runs are no longer a black box.

When a run ended in ERROR, you used to see the word ERROR with no explanation. QA.tech now distinguishes between three error categories:

    • Agent problems (the AI got stuck, made a mistake, or got lost)
    • Platform errors (browser crash, timeout, infrastructure issue on our side)
    • External factors (the target application was down, unreachable, or returned an unexpected error)

This was the foundation for the rest of the verdict work that landed in spring, and the first time you could meaningfully act on an ERROR result without contacting support.
