Mobile reliability and issue flagging foundation

    2 updates shipped on March 12, 2026.

    1. Update 01 of 02

      Issue flagging foundation

The agent now emits structured issue signals beyond pass and fail.

The Assessment Agent started producing structured issue signals (categorized observations beyond a binary pass/fail) on every run. These signals are the substrate for the Issue Reporters work coming later in the year, where domain-specific reporters (performance, accessibility, console errors, security) will turn those signals into verified issues.

    2. Update 02 of 02

      Mobile reliability and accuracy upgrades

A focused pass on tap accuracy, screen-settle detection, gesture handling, and ADB reliability.

A batch of mobile-specific improvements landed across early March:

      • Better tap accuracy via YOLOWorld element detection – a vision-based detector tuned for mobile UIs.
      • Screen-settle detection so the agent waits for a screen to actually finish animating before deciding what's there.
      • Native ADB support for Android, including direct shell commands and dedicated connection management.
      • Swipe and scroll fixes on Appetize – modals dismiss correctly, scroll directions match what the user means.
      • Larger app uploads – split the mobile build upload into a presigned-URL flow so apps over 4.5 MB upload without hitting Vercel's body size limit.
      • Mobile-aware chat – the chat agent stops asking for a URL when working with a mobile app and surfaces the platform and engine context.
