    Cursor plugin and step regeneration

    2 updates shipped on April 21, 2026.

    1. Update 01 of 02

      Cursor plugin

Your coding agent can now call QA.tech to verify changes as part of its loop.

We published a Cursor extension that exposes QA.tech as a tool your coding agent can call. When Cursor finishes a change, it can ask QA.tech to verify the affected flows, read the result, and react. This is the integration we've wanted for a while: agents writing code, QA.tech verifying behavior, both inside the same loop.

The extension is available in the Cursor marketplace.

    2. Update 02 of 02

Regenerate all test steps in one click

Append-only step generation made fixing wrong tests painful. Now you can start over.

The test editor's step generator used to only append new steps to existing ones. If the existing steps were completely wrong, the only path forward was to manually delete them all first. Now there's a "Regenerate all steps" button that does what it says.

We also added a nudge that filling in the expected result materially improves the steps the AI generates. Previously the field was optional with no indication that it mattered.
