Release notes··3 updates

Chat-created applications, issues in PR reviews, and smarter triage prompts

3 updates shipped on October 27, 2026.

  1. Update 01 of 03

Chat can create applications and clean up scenario folders

Ask chat to set up a web, API or mobile application, or to archive scenario folders you no longer use.

Chat can create an application with its first environment, so you no longer need to go to settings first – the quickest way to start with browserless API tests. Mobile applications need an ios or android environment and an uploaded app file. Chat can also archive empty scenario folders, and tells you which folders still have tests.

More on this: API testing and mobile testing.

  2. Update 02 of 03

Issues listed directly in the pull request review

Each QA.tech review lists the issues it found, with critical ones up front and links into the review chat.

Critical issues sit in an open table under the verdict. Major and minor issues are collapsed into one section titled with the counts, for example "2 Major, 9 Minor". Each issue title opens that issue in the review chat.

More on this: PR testing and testing AI-generated code.

  3. Update 03 of 03

PR triage prompts can use branches and the author

Custom triage rules can decide based on where a pull request is going and who opened it.

Triage prompts can reference the base branch, head branch, author and deployments – for example, skip PRs that target a release branch. A rule that says to test the pull request still wins. The full list is in the PR triage docs.

Onboarding's "Choose what you want to test" step also leads with your own URL now, with example sites one click away.

More on this: PR and CI/CD testing and SaaS onboarding testing.
