Fast-v2 is now the default test agent

A new agent, Fast-v2, is QA.tech's recommended default for web tests.

Fast-v2 now shows as "QA.tech recommended" in the agent picker and in application settings for web testing.

The original Fast agent is marked Deprecated wherever it appears – in the agent selector and in ⌘K's Change Agent menu – while tests already running on Fast keep doing so until you switch them. More on how the agents work in AI agent testing.

Scope MCP connections to specific projects

The MCP sign-in flow lets you search your organizations and limit a connection to selected projects instead of your whole org.

Building on sign-in based MCP authentication, the consent screen now shows a searchable list of the organizations you belong to and lets you choose "Only selected projects" instead of org-wide access.

The scope you pick is enforced everywhere the connection is used – API calls, project listings and chat tools. See the MCP integration docs for setup.

  3. Update 04 of 05

PR reviews check the linked Linear issue's acceptance criteria

When a branch is linked to a Linear issue, the PR review agent pulls in that issue and checks the PR against its acceptance criteria.

The PR review agent looks up the linked issue through Linear directly, or falls back to detecting an issue key in the branch name when no direct link exists.

This works alongside the Jira integration too – issue-key detection still applies when Linear is not your tracker.

  4. Update 05 of 05

    Transfer organization ownership from Members

Organization owners can hand off ownership to another member directly from Settings → Organization → Members.

Each member row now has an options menu with Edit, Transfer ownership and Delete.

Transfer ownership is owner-only and hidden on your own row, so it is always clear who can hand off control. Test ownership is unaffected.
